Wendy is a well-known artist so I wanted to incorporate that into her videos. I came up with the idea to have her create a drawing that went along with the song, Summer Devil. I filmed this on my iPhone 6s and to say that there weren’t problems would be a lie. I had to go to Verizon at one point to see if they could fix my phone because it wasn’t recording. Turns out I just had a lot of memory on it, so it was getting overheated…my bad!
Just like with the Beauty and the Beast video, I took the footage I got, and had to cut down to seconds on some clips so that it wouldn’t go over the length of the song. The raw version was around 23 minutes, and to cut that down to around 4 minutes was something else.
I had so much fun with this one, because at the end of the video I added in a little section of where we were laughing and sharpening pencils. We were out of it from the long hours putting these videos together.
