One of the first projects that I did involve creating a story through music.
I had to:
- The Arrangement Track has the text (prompts) of the story spine
- You have written a note that BRIEFLY describes your story…
- “I began with/by…”
- “The story I was thinking of was….”
- “If this story had words it would go like this…”
I used loops as well as creating some tracks on my own.

My Piece:
At first, I thought I wanted my piece to be a fantasy due to the fact that it starts off as “Once upon a time..”, but when I got to the “But one day…” arrangement track, I found myself changing the story. My new story is about a man who spends his life doing the same routine every, single day, until one day he meets/looks upon a girl in a coffee shop, who makes his heart skip a beat. He never thought that he would ever fall in love, or thought that he needed someone to love in his life until he met his mystery girl. The rest of the piece (“Because of that..”) is about how he changes his routine. He cares more about his appearance (learning about fashion and trying to be the “cool dude” to impress her), takes better care of himself, goes to the coffee shop every day to talk to her (gaining the courage too). Until finally at the end of the piece, he mans up, and finally speaks to her, and they have their first conversation.
