From late May 2017 to early July 2017, I had the opportunity to edit, help create, and direct seven music videos for my cousin, a talented Nebraskan artist and musician, Wendy Jane Bantam and Tremulant Records Studio. The videos range from recording sessions, stop motion, to combining videos from the online archive.
I have never done anything like this before. It was definitely a grueling process at times … my eyes started to blur over … I’m surprised I’m not completely blind because of it.
BUT…
I am so glad that I got the chance to do it. I challenged and pushed myself to points I had no idea I could go to. I was afraid at first. Is she going to like them? Will I be able to do a professional job? I came out of this experience a better person creatively, professionally, and in general.
The videos that I shot, and constructed on my own are Waiting For Starkweather, A Robin’s Heart, Beauty and the Beast, and Summer Devil.
*Note: I didn’t have my own version of Adobe Creative Cloud at this time so that is why I used iMovie. I do own Adobe Creative Cloud now though! Thank you!*
