From 2017 to the present I have had the opportunity to work as a freelance video editor and doing some website management! I love gaining experience in multiple fields (webinars/youtube to name a few) while searching for a career in the editing field!
I’ve edited music videos (which you can find under my portfolio!), being a website consultant for a dental office. Worked for a startup in 2019-2020 that unfortunately ended due to COVID-19, but I loved it and learned so much from them!
As of right now, I’m the lead video editor for the Tik Tok profile WhiskeyBestie created by Kayla Kelly. I edited other projects by Kayla Kelly including a blog called I Totally Knew That! It was about how to learn to “BS your way through anything and everything!” It’s funny and lighthearted, and honestly, it has helped me a lot already.

I enjoy being able to work on projects while looking for something stable. I am fortunate enough to continue to learn and hone my skill set. I learned a lot about editing from college, and I’m glad that I can continue to learn new programs, and editing in general, outside of that. I can’t wait to continue my journey of freelance but I also can’t wait to find a company that I call home 🙂
You always have to continue to learn even after you earn that degree. The world never stops changing and neither should you!
