To prepare for this assignment the class was asked to draw a character for 5 minutes. We could draw ANYTHING but we had to continuously draw for the full 5 minutes.
For some reason, my mind went to a zombie lizard … no idea why, but that is what happened. Plus I named him Frank, he just looked like one afterward…
After I drew, I needed to create the character in Adobe Illustrator.
Based on the 5-minute character drawing I had to create a basic animated character using parenting, the puppet pin tool, and audio in Adobe After Effects.
- The character must be based on the drawing I did in class.
- My character must be animated for at least 20 seconds using parenting and the puppet pin tool.
- My animation must contain multiple graphics or photo pieces.
- It must contain audio that is timed to the animations.
