
In the fall of 2016, I was enrolled in my first Audio Production course.
I used pre-existing audio and re-mastered the audio to how I wanted it to sound.
Course Description/Format – This is an introductory course in the digital audio production designed to familiarize students with the basic theory, practice, and procedures involved in recording and producing music in the modern digital audio production suite. The course will consist of lectures/demonstrations given during the regularly scheduled class time, individual production assignments completed outside of class time, and class projects that will be conducted both in and outside of class time.
Course Objectives
- Provide a hands-on digital audio technology-learning environment
- Familiarize students with recording studio techniques, procedures, and protocols
- Provide a basic knowledge of the use of use of mixing consoles, microphones, and other hardware used in recording and mixing sound
- Provide a working knowledge of Apple Logic Pro recording software
